Z80 single board computer +PSU that does RS232C or RS422+ convert, D8255, MK3801

Description: Made bySpace Qualified Systems CorpLabeled as FAA type # 10164, a FAA flight strip printer control unit. This is a Z80 based single board unit including internal power supply. that the FAA used to convert RS232C or RS422+ The circuit card is mounted in a nice Vector-style case with slide our front and back panels. One end of the case has a standard IEC power cord socket and a DB9 Female for the RS232C or RS422+ and a 24pin connector that I cannot ID that goes to a ribbon header on the PCB that apparently went to an FAA air traffic controllers' flight strip printer. The other end of the case has LED indicators for "serial RX, TX", 9 lites for "data" + "P", 4 lites for "control" (SEL, RES, EOM, I/OR), 5lited for "STATUS" (DVI, DS7,DS6, DS5, DS3). There is also a button for "power" and a button for "test" and a button labeled "R". PCB has standard logic chips, one socketed TI TMS2516JL EPROM 24pinDIP. Also on the PCB is one TMM2016P-1 Static RAM, 16Kb (2K x 8), DIP-24. The board includes these two 40pin DIP chips:-The MK3801 Z80 STI (Serial Timer Interrupt) is a multifunctional peripheral device for use in Z80 micro- processor based systems. -The D8255 is a programmable I/O device designed for use with many microprocessors. It has 24 I/O pins which may be individually programmed in 2 groups of 12 and used in 3 major modes. The socketed Z80 CPU is a Zilog Z8400BPS Z80, date code 86xx. The PCB also has a cute little MicoSwitching power supply (115VAC in with +/-12 and +/-5VDC out) Please look at all pics closely. I recommend putting on a VARAIC and "cooking" it for a while @<100VAC before giving it full AC power. I acquired them from the FAA as surplus in about 1989.
