Description: Offering up something you don’t come across often. This WWII AN6510 parachute is compete and still packed/sealed with the tab of the individual who also inspected/packed it after the war. This model chute was commonly used by fighter pilots and naval aviators during the war. It shows to have been mfg in July of 1943 and repacked in the 1950’s at Dallas Love Field in Texas. The rip cord and its repacking is tag/thread is still present and it has not been pulled or opened since repacking. The harness and all buckles are present, functional, and in great condition. This chute has definitely been taken care of since the war and has been stored inside its original AN6505-1 aviators carry bag. A must have for any WWII USAAF Fighter pilot flight gear collection!
