Description: Original WW2 German Army map which once formed part of a regional dossier of important military, industrial and municipal establishments. (The upper margin states "Nur für den Dienstgebrauch", which is equivalent to "RESTRICTED" in British military terms). It relates to WARRINGTON and features the PENKETH, SANKEY BRIDGES, WALTON INFERIOR areas etc. (IMPORTANT NOTE - The entire map is clearly visible in the photographs, so please use the zoom feature to satisfy yourself that specific locations of interest are actually covered by this sheet. Depending on coverage, some local areas may span two or more maps, so please bear this in mind. As ever, I am happy to answer any questions you may have.) Produced at the highly detailed scale of 1:10,000. The printing date is shown in the lower right margin with Roman numerals for the month and the year displayed as two digits (see photos). In excellent condition. Bears a small filing / storage reference code handwritten in the top left corner, showing that this map was held in some kind of official archive either during or after the War.
