Description: WW2 British Early Tank Corps Arm BadgeExcellent early example of the Tank Corps/Royal Armoured Corps arm badge. The badge represents the MK IV Heavy Tank developed in WW1. This example is in the WW2 configuration with the cannon at a 45 degree angle, but is on a serge backing rather than the later felt backing as commonly seen. It shows signs of having been removed from a uniform and does have some mothing on the backing wool. This could date from the inter-war period but certainly is an early WW2 period example. Perfect for your collection or to replace a missing one on a uniform.
