Acetate lightly toned, modest edgewear, near fine. A photocopy of the manuscript of Mozart's famed *Jupiter Symphony*, given by one noted Jewish bassoonist, Mordechai Rechtman, to another, Sol Schoenbach. Inscribed on the first blank leaf: "New York, Oct. 18th, 1993. To dear Sol - with lots of appreciation, best wishes and love - from: Mordechai." Two programs laid in show that Mordechai Rechtman, who was teaching in Tel Aviv in the early 90s, was performing and guest conducting in the area at the time. One of the programs, for an event at the Hotel Wales, features Rechtman playing in a tribute concert to himself, arranged by his son Ilan. An unusual bound document, with no title page or imprint, gifted by one famous classical bassoonist to another.
