Description: The Boston and Lockport Block Company was incorporated in 1887 combining the Bagnall and Loud Block Company of Boston and the Penfield Block Company of Lockport, New York. In 1889 the company's offices and warehouses were reported as located on Commercial and Fulton Streets in Boston, Massachusetts. The company operated a factory located at 210 Market Street in Lockport, N.Y. from the mid 1800's until the early 1900's. Very Good to Excellent Condition. Cleaned but some may have some minor surface rust. Clearly marked "Boston & Lockport Block Co" "Boston" " U S A" "7" on one side and a "star with 6" "No. 41"! Work as is should and measures approximately 9" tall (without hook) 14" (with hook) x approximately 4 1/2" wide. Weighs 11.8 lbs NY REASONABLE OFFERS WILL BE CONSIDERED!
