Description: Here we have a Vintage E. C. Simmons KEEN KUTTER Double Bit Felling 3 lb. 10 oz, AXE AX HEAD. The maker mark reads: "KEEN KUTTER MADE IN U.S.A." It is also stamped '4', which I interpret as 4 lbs. since the head actually weighs 3 lb. 10 oz. It is in Very Good 'uncleaned' condition with minor nicks, etc. Head is approx. 9-1/4" long, and it has approx. 4-1/2" long cutting edges. No cracks, breaks or repairs. No owner marks.
