Description: Today I am offering this fabulous vintage jam jar with lid and spoon. This fine china jam jar is from Royal Albert in the iconic Old Country Roses pattern. This super rare item is brand new in the original packaging and box dated 1987. It has never been used. It features a small jam pot or condiment jar with a notched lid and matching little porcelain spoon with rosebuds on the tip. They made a couple of different jam jars. This is the smaller one with the 3D roses finial on the lid top. It measures approximately as follows: 3" high including the lid 2" high not including the lid 2" across from side to side 2" across the top opening 3" spoon It is hallmarked on the underside as follows: (roses logo) Old Country Roses Royal Albert Fine China Made in China 1962 Royal Albert Ltd. Royal Albert's Old Country Roses is one of the most popular fine china dinnerware patterns ever produced. Designed with a gorgeous floral border inspired by English roses in full bloom, the pattern was introduced in 1962, and has been in great demand ever since. This particular piece is discontinued and very hard-to-find, in this condition it's practically unheard of. The outer box is even in really nice condition. The styrofoam packing inside has a little crumbling, but otherwise everything is excellent.
