Description: You're looking at an Edon task light in excellent working condition and dating to approx the 1930s. This piece features a very scare, original vertical post. All parts are original to the lamp (other than a bolt/ wingnut). It was designed to be bench mounted and it can be pivoted to direct light where it's required. Overall the patina of this lamp is very good with wear commensurate with age including marks, paint loss, pitting, scuffs etc; which all add to the character and authenticity of the piece. The original green shade is in intact and in good shape. This item has been rewired using vintage-style black twisted cord and a new plug. Works perfectly and ready to be mounted to your desk/ shelf.
