Description: VTG Book "The Ninety and Nine" by William Brinkley CONDITION ISSUE. This fictional book has a stamp inside the front cover "Damaged not for resale". There is a name or some other writing on the opposite top right on the inside cover of a past owner. From what I can tell the cover wasn't attached correctly with a deeper ridge on the inside of the front and back covers (see photos), however the spine is strong. When looking at the pages on the side opposite the spine, there are irregularities of the edges and a few that stick out a bit more here and there with some small curls, but no tears or writing in the book. the table of contents seems to be lower on the page than normal, but otherwise unsure what damage. There is just a bit of wear on the bottom and top edges of the spine and a white mark on the spine about midway down, but the remainder of the book cover looks good. Story is about the Navy and WWII. Condition is "pre-owned" and as stamped "damaged". Shipped with USPS Media Mail.
