Description: Vtg 80s/90s Princess Wedding Dress Cap Sleeve 8' Train Lace Beading Satin Tulle BodiceCap sleeve, scoop neck/back dress with a full princess/ball gown skirt. The bodice is made of ivory satin, with floral applique and pearl beading at the sleeves and waist. Dress closes up the back with a zipper, which is covered by a panel of satin-covered faux buttons (Photo 10). A large satin bow is at the bottom of the zipper where the bodice joins the skirt. SkirtThe full skirt consists of 5 layers: a lining, a tiered crinoline, a satin overskirt, a sheer tulle layer, and a tulle layer with beading (sequins and mini pearls) and floral applique (Photos 20-21). Examples of the skirt embroidery are in Photo 17. Train The 8'x8' train matches the ivory satin bodice. Two satin bows are spaced along the length of the train and match the bow at the back of the waist. The train attaches under the embroidery at the bottom of the bodice where it joins the skirt (Photos 11-12). Excellent condition! No rips or stains. Minor loose beading on sleeve. The small ribbons designed to support the dress on a hanger are frayed. The inside of the bodice has approximately 1.5 inches of additional seam allowance that could be let out on each side (3 inches overall - Photo 22). The sleeves appear to have been taken in as well as, with the excess material folded under and preserved (Photo 22). Full view of the lining can be seen in Photo 19. No brand or size tags or present. Style and construction suggest it was made in the late 1980s or early/mid-1990s. The dress will be shipped with a thick plastic garment bag and the sturdy wooden hanger in photos which can handle the weight of the dress. Fits size Medium/Large.
