Description: Original 1920's paper receipt from Berkshire Motor Car Company Inc in Albany, NY. Customer receipt for an auto part delivered C. O. D. On June 12th, 1923. Top printed Berkshire Motor Car Company, Inc. Distributors of Chalmers and Maxwell Cars and Teucks. 276 Central Ave Albany, NY. This was filled out in blue ink which is fading, and final price was in pencil which still looks great. The receipt is amazingly preserved, as it was found kept away amongst some antique car papers from the estate of an antique Auto enthusiast, whose father was a mechanic from the 20's to 60's or so. Some bends and folds to edges. Ink is fading, but actual print in receipt looks great. There is what looks like a cigarette burn hole in upper right corner. Large receipt, measures 6.25" x 8.75". Will come with a protective sleeve and acid free backing board. Photo of Berkshire Motor Car Co at the end of pics is for reference only. Not included.
