Description: Vintage/Antique cast stone copy of the Williamsburg Angel - Dimensions are ; 4 7/8" high , 10 3/8" long , 2 3/4" deep - Material is casting stone. A well known architectural element , this piece is old. It's the child angel , the cherub , the face and wings are used so wonderfully architecturally along with the volutes , curving leaves and flourishes that it couldn't have more of a classic look. This piece is heavy so it's not just plaster and it's not 'heavy plaster' either. It must be an old casting stone. It has a dark heavy patina and either some sort of thin paint at some point in the past or some of the material it's made of had laminated off ever so slightly. There are a few little nicks but with the age of a heavy piece like this it's really almost perfect. It's cool.
