Description: Vintage Wilcox Crittenden 15” steering wheel and shaft helm and spool used on multiple racing and runabout wood boats including Cris-Craft, Custom, MFG Westfield, Penn Yann, Thompson, Lyman Morse (built right here in Maine), Graf, J-Craft and Boesch. In original, unmolested condition although these came in all black, all white or black and white together, which was a matter of preference and style. Appears to me that they came from manufacture in black and were painted to customer preference. Three bolt pattern, includes shaft and spool, spacer pieces in first photos.
