The shorter, faded side says 'Varsity Brand Santa Clara 40 - 60 Prunes' and 'Cured Fruit Association of California Packed California, U.S.A.'. The Association was created in 1908, so the box was made sometime after 1908. The crate s in good condition except the longer side with Santa Clara Prunes is less sturdy than the other 3 sides. There is candle wax (I think) on the other long, plain side - see the last photo. Please write if you have any questions. Payment must be received within 7 days of the sale's end.
