Description: This is a truly vintage rosary with Sacred Heart of Jesus centerpiece and Confraternity of the Precious Blood Monastery medal. The rosary is circa Art Deco Era. The attached medal is circa 1960s. BLUE ART GLASS. SACRED HEART OF JESUS HAVE MERCY. CONFRATERNITY OF THE PRECIOUS BLOOD MONASTERY MEDAL. ART DECO ERA. You will receive the exact rosary pictured. It is crafted of Art Deco Era blue art glass beads, multifaceted, about 6-7mm. The pater beads are blue faux pearl, about 8mm. The centerpiece is Sacred Heart of Jesus Have Mercy on one side and Blessed Virgin Mary on one side. The crucifix is embellished with intricate designs/flourishes. The centerpiece and crucifix are gold-tone. Both are Art Deco Era. Both pieces show exceptional detail. There are no marks indicating the country of origin. The connective chain appears to be brass. The rosary has a medal attached, in the drop. It is Confraternity of the Precious Blood Monastery, vintage-era blue and mother of pearl stain glass design. The medal is unusual, quite nice. Research indicated the monastery is located at 5300 Ft. Hamilton Parkway, Brooklyn 19, New York. The medal is circa 1960s. The rosary's overall length is a little over 20". The crucifix measures about 1.75". The medal measures 1". The rosary weighs 30.0 grams. The rosary is in excellent to very good vintage/Art Deco Era condition.
