Description: This is a truly vintage-era Fatima Rosary. Art Deco Era. Circa 1930s. CELLULOID/LUCITE. ART DECO 1930s. GLOW IN THE DARK. FATIMA. You will receive the exact rosary pictured. This rosary is crafted of truly vintage-era celluloid/Lucite beads, round, about 7mm. All the beads are the same size. The beads are glow in the dark. The centerpiece appears to be art deco era (1920s - early 1930s). It is inscribed on reverse: Nossa Senhora Do Rosario Da Fatima. The crucifix is marked FATIMA on reverse. The crucifix is rounded, as often seen in the older vintage era rosaries. Both pieces are silver-tone, metal alloy, perhaps a heavy gauge aluminum. The rosary's overall length is 16.5". The crucifix measures about 1.5". The rosary weighs 15.0 grams. The rosary is in excellent to very good early vintage condition. It is complete with all the original celluloid/Lucite glow in the dark beads. It appears to have never undergone repair or replacement. The rosary is fully intact. The details on the crucifix and centerpiece are excellent with minimal softening. There is some age-related discoloration on the centerpiece, crucifix and along the connective chain. This discoloration is minimal. The connective chain is strong, fully intact. The luminescence (glow in the dark quality) is functional throughout the beads. This rosary appears to be art deco era.
