These lovely covered sugar bowls were made in just about the same style from the late 1950s to the early 1980s and sold throughout the former Soviet Union. This will add extra chic to your tea party! Its design features a round glass bowl made of deep cobalt blue glass with a silvertone metal rim, lid, and handle. It can be used for holding candies or nuts as well and makes a wonderful complement to your kitchen decor.When storing sugar, it is called in Russian a 'sakarnica' (sugar bowl), it is stamped on the bottom with the price of 5 roubles (a price point which would put it at about the late 1970s).
