Description: This vintage quilt is a beautiful addition to any collection. The white background really makes the patchwork of pink, green, Yellow and blue creating a stunning array of colors. It has both Striped Stars, Checkers and Floral Print Stars. Not sure if what you would call the other squares and triangles pattern. The quilt is made of cotton and measures 86 inches in width, with a square shape and a queen double size. The quilt is handmade and machine made it features a patchwork pattern, adding a unique touch to the vintage style. It is perfect for use as a bed cover or as a decorative piece or with winter at our door, the perfect blanket to grab for a snuggle on the couch. The set includes two standard Pillow Shams and the quilt. It is sure to be a cherished item for anyone who appreciates vintage quilts. Now the sad part, We used this quilt and it did over the 30+ years gain a stain or 4?I looked it over as best I could, my eyes aren't what they used to be but I do try and look over every inch. You can see from the photos that the back is free of stains. Too bad we didn't use it that way. There is one larger stain you can see it isn't super dark and it didn't go through so I have no idea what caused it. I took a little video to show how it didn't transfer to the back of the quilt. If you knew how to sew perhaps you could sew a patch using some of the fabric from the pillow sham to cover it. Or you know a better way to remove stains.
