Description: Here's a rare 1947 vintage Buffet Crampon Pre-R13 Bb Boehm clarinet The instrument is made of grenadilla wood with nickel alloy keys, posts and rings, and a bore of .575". All pieces are original, no body cracks or repairs. It was overhauled a few years back for a customer who is now thinning the heard: disassembled, soaked in oil, the mechanism swedged and countersunk, body, keys, rings, and posts buffed, tan leather pads and corks installed. This pro grade clarinet is in good shape for its years and plays with a sweet, open tone and good intonation . Comes with vintage case in solid condition.
