Up for auction is a vintage BASSO frameset from the mid 1980s. Rare small frame size! Marked with "50". The frame is technically in fully working condition. I just removed all the components, the frame had a Campagnolo Victory groupset mounted (not included). All threads are intact, the frame has no cracks or other structural issues. Oria TT0.9 tubing. Optically the frame is ok, but as you can see from the pics, not perfect. Perfect as a daily runner the way it is. I would rate the condition of the paint as used with regular signs of use and age. The frame shows some patina, like smaller oxidation stains and imperfections to the chrome. There are scratches and marks. Zero affection to the stability usability of the frame / fork - simply a nice runner and not a perfect showbike. Please see pics. The bottom bracket shell measures 70mm, Italian thread. Rear dropouts Basso, I measure 128mm. The last wheelset mounted had 126mm (6 speed). Measurements: The frame is about 50cm tall (center - center), 51.5cm (center - top end) and 51.5cm long (center - center). 2.7kg.
