Description: This is a piece I completed in early 1980s. There are a variety of stitches and threads depicting sunrise over Mt Fuji. The size of the stitches is referred to as petipoint because they are small. The sunrise has gold metallic thread accents. The dogwood flowers in the four corners compliment Mt Fuji in the background with a fluffy white cloud above it. The piece is matted and framed in gold painted bamboo style wood.
