Description: Vintage Nautical Chart for ships. boats, and all watercraft navigating through the San Miguel Passage and around Santa Rosa Island. San Miguel is the Westernmost of the Northern Santa Barbara Channel Islands about 45 miles West of the City of Santa Barbara on the Southern California Coast. Sailors use these charts to know the depths of the waters they are navigating through, and what rocks or hazards might be in their path. This chart, 29 3/4 inches by 40.5 inches, is from the 1970's, and has yellowed a bit from age, and is a bit ragged, with a few small tears and creases around the edges. Those should be minimized if you flatten it in a frame. A bit of nautical history from California. Map will be mailed in a heavy duty Kraft cardboard mailing tube to protect and prevent any further bending damage.
