Description: Vintage Esterbrook Visumaster Fountain PenGreen ColorAS IS - Untested Vintage Estate Pen - READ A vintage green Visumaster fountain pen by Esterbrook. This is a Visumaster 2 as it has a less tapered end and there is no step-down below the threading. These Visumaster pens have an incredible look with alternating thin and wide strips of marbled plastic. It has a clear visulated section and a metal cap jewel with the Esterbrook name. The pen does not have the original nib...it has a damaged Esterbrook 1555 Gregg nib. SIZE: Pen measures 5" in length when capped.CONDITION: Sold for parts or repair - this is a non functional pen as it currently sits. This is an estate pen from a local collection that has not been tested or fully disassembled to view interior components. The pen rattles significantly when shaken, so the ink sac is likely disintegrated from age. The metal clip is broken off and missing from the cap. There appears to be an issue with the threading on either the barrel or cap as the pen doesn't screw in more than 1/2 turn or so. The plastic body and cap have no chips or cracks, but do show normal surface wear such as scratching, small nicks, and abrasions from handling. Finally, the pen has an Esterbrook 1555 Gregg nib, although the nib has noticeable signs of wear and the tip appears to be broken or damaged.
