Description: This is a fully working vintage Garrett metal detector from the early 80's. I bought this for my son a few years ago to get him started and he has found at least double what I paid for it in treasure. It is quite sensitive once you figure out the optimal settings for your soil. Please understand that this is a 40 year old analog device. While it does work, don't expect it to work like a modern digital device. It's a whole different way of working. And if you really want this thing to be fine tuned, I'd have the pots cleaned.
