Description: Vintage Black and White Button Shoes for Child, 4 ¼ inch sole length, marked with large “1” inside shoe, probably American, probably early 1900’s, look to be unworn but black areas show some aging from storage, probably for an infant as the soles would not take much wear, the interior of the shoe is lined with linen, the stitching around the linen and white leather is a chain stitch with linen thread possibly by hand, the 3 little shoe buttons are hand sewn with blue thread, the button holes are probably also hand stitched, the sole was machine stitched to the black material which is fibrous and possibly not leather, cute for a doll or for display.
