Text is from a poem (�Im Wald und auf der Heide�) written by Wilhelm Bornemann in 1816 and set to music in 1827 by F. L. Gehrike. See also Nos. 555 and 556. Purchase new in 1979. Never used for drinking, only display. No chips or flaws. 9 inches tall without the lid. The lid is about 2 1/2 inches.
