Description: This Adrian Pearsall Craft Associates Sofa is authentic and in great vintage condition. Its original catalog number is 889-D1T. The plaid upholstery is probably original and does not need to be replaced unless you have another fabric in mind. This sofa is smaller (shorter) than the 889-S which I also have on auction. This sofa has only 1 built-in travertine marble end table. The solid walnut trim goes around the sofa on three sides. This smaller version is much rarer than the larger 889-S. The metal circular disc which the leg screws into needs to be reattached as one of the photos shows (not difficult to do). The walnut is solid and the travertine marble slab in of very high quality and in excellent condition. This is one of Pearsall's iconic designs. This sofa has a floating quality was made as an alternative to the 889-S to accommodate a smaller space.
