Description: As a Holmes fan, I have several editions of the Canon. This is fun as it is a hardbound reproduction of the stories as they appeared in The Strand. Same typeface, type set and original illustrations. Alas, I must thin the herd. I never thought much about box sets over the years but I can see the box kept this in pristine condition. Even much less yellowing over time though there is some spotting as shown. One very small corner crease as shown. Great reading copies as the nights grow longer. This vintage hardback box set features the complete collection of Sherlock Holmes books by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Published by Platinum Press in 1996, this set includes all of the original stories and features illustrations by Sidney Paget. The books are in excellent shape and show signs of wear consistent with their age.
