Johnny Johnson, an American professional wildlife photographer since 1977, has worked on assignment for National Geographic and has an impressive list of publication credits. His work is internationally recognized and published through representatives in Europe, Japan, and Canada. About his art he states, "My objective is to capture and express the essence of our vanishing natural world." This wonderful print features a stunning image of Mt. McKinley, reflected in Wonder Lake at dawn. A moose cow waded into the lake at the time the photo was snapped. This piece has been framed with a marbled champagne-colored outer matte, inset with a forest green border (see photos for detail). It is framed with an off-the-shelf, solid wood rounded beveled frame, finished with a light oak stain. It measures about 21 5/8 inches in width and is about 17 5/8 inches tall (framed), a substantial medium size. The photographic print is in excellent condition - no stains, spots, holes or tears with no fading - the colors are sharp and vivid. The matting is in great condition with no stains, holes, creases or tears. The frame has some very minor scuffing, consistent with vintage wear, but is also in good condition. The glass is in good condition - no chips or cracks. The hanging bracket is secure and sturdy. See photos for more details. This print is so much more beautiful in person than the photos here show. It is a wonderful piece of art for any wildlife or nature lover who appreciates our disappearing wild America.
