Description: ORIGINAL 1976 & 1990 'NEW HOPE' PENNSYLVANIA 'PICTOGRAPH' PICTORIAL MAPS BY GINA SHAMUS & LESLIE HOLZMAN This is really a wonderful original. I have searched around and been unable to find too many other examples of this scarce pictorial map. Neither one. This is both the original done in 1976 and also the redo in 1990. I have only been able to find examples of these in the Library of Congress and one Pennsylvania Historical Society. These were done by a company called Pictograph and are both labeled with publication information lower right corner. Both lithographs on paper measuring about 23 x 35 inches. Outstanding original condition. Wonderful views of the downtown with all the stores and residents around this time as well as some of the early history of the town. A wonderful pair of original maps. Do your own research on these. They do not show up often. A must have for any New Hope collector. Maps are stored in tube and will be shipped that way. CHECK THE PICTURES ON THIS EXCELLENT PIECE!!!
