Description: VINTAGE 1970’s COLLECTION CHINESE Celadon Porcelain Green Coffee Tea Covered Mugs with Lids This rare vintage collection of Chinese celadon porcelain lidded mugs was purchased in the 1970s. None were ever used and were simply displayed in a dining room glass curio cabinet. They are in perfect, as originally purchased condition without any chips, cracks or crazing. There are 6 mugs with lids in the collection, with paired sets of 2 mugs/lids featuring a koi fish design, a bamboo design and a bamboo leaf design. The beautiful celadon green color provides a peaceful and serene Asian-themed aesthetic. Elegant, sophisticated and stunning, each pair is made of delicate porcelain and ceramic material. The practical design of having a covered lid means your beverage will stay steaming hot longer. Size approximations: Koi Fish Design: about 3¾” height without lid, 3¼” diameter, slightly more than 4¼” wide to handle, holds 12 ounces liquid to the rim.Bamboo Design: slightly more than 4” height without lid, 3½” diameter, 4½” wide to handle, holds 16 ounces liquid to the rim. Bamboo Leaf Design: slightly more than 3¾” height without lid, 3¼” diameter, slightly more than 4½” wide to handle, holds 12 ounces liquid to the rim.
