Description: Vintage 1960s Kamehameha Floral Colorful Print Maxi Dress-Made in Hawaii (C63E) The Kamehameha Garment Company was set up by Herbert Briner (said to be the founder of Hawaiian ready-to-wear) in 1936. The name comes from King Kamehameha who was responsible for uniting Hawaii’s islands. The company is particularly famous for its Aloha shirts, as well as its tropical flower-patterned cotton clothing (featuring sarongs, full skirted dresses, sun and swimsuits). Tag shows this is from the 1960s. In very good condition. Zipper in the back works perfectly. Measures approximately armpit to armpit is 18 inches, across the waist is 20 inches, and is 54 inches from top seam to bottom seam. No size tag so please refer to measurements provided.
