Description: Hello and welcome to The House of Chrome. You are looking at a high quality vintage 1960's era Atlas Sound CH-1 model microphone stand cable hanger complete with it's original box. This cable hanger appears to be N.O.S unused and in perfect condition. Pic # 2 shows this very model accessory in an old Atlas catalog I have along with it's basic specs. The Ch-1 was a very practical accessory for any microphone floor stand. The CH-1 would slide onto the lower stem of any floor stand you have. You could then tighten the screw which would cause the metal strap of the CH-1 to grasp the stands pole / riser. You only need one of these on a stand but I have seen two as well. These work much in the same way as the hanger works on a vacuum machine where you wrap the cord around. The CH-1 is an all metal design with a quality chrome polished finish. It shows no wear at all.
