All of its brass hardware is present and untarnished. Handle is intact and is white, hasn't yellowed. Its shiny candy apple red top and sides have a few slight small scratches, and there is only one small ding on the white back corner. Truly exceptional! The interior is just as pristine clean as the outside. Brass clothing hook is untarnished and moves back and forth with ease, original drawer is perfect, and the original ties to hold the doll are still intact and perfect! These trunks are not so hard to find, but finding one in this pristine condition is rare. Inside of the trunk I found this authentic Shirley Temple doll dress and along with the cutest needle-felted bunny. I must have placed this in the trunk years ago since this is the last of my 15" doll trunks and the 17" doll trunks have been sold. The dress looks like it may fit your 17" or 19" Shirley Temple doll, not a 15" doll. Dress measures 9 inches total length. Aside from needing a few stitches (sleeve seam has come undone) and a small area of fabric unraveling on the back opening, the dress is in excellent pristine condition. The little white needle-felted rabbit is the cutest! He's holding a bouquet of cotton flowers and is snuggled in a hand-knit blanket inside of the blue basket. Preciously perfect in every way!
