It helped a doctor examine the nose and throat using a light source behind the patient that was reflected by the mirror and focused into a high intensity light. The adjustable leather head strap holds the mirror in front of the doctor’s eye. Mirror is 3.5” diameter. The band is non-elastic but adjustable. Excellent condition except for a tiny loss of silvering near central hole.
