Description: Vintage 1930s Pipe Dreams Book-like Safe Tobacco Box by Sir Walter Raleigh Click images to enlarge Description This is a vintage 1930s "secret hiding" / safe cardboard advertising box titled Pipe Dreams by Sir Walter Raleigh. It is made to look like a book that can be mixed up on a book shelf to look like a hard cover book. The edges are even made to look like gold leaf pages. The end that appears on the bookshelf is a man smoking a pipe in a circle at the top and the bottom reads B&W inside of a tobacco leaf. The cover shows a man smoking a pipe in his easy chair and above him in a cloud it reads Pipe Dreams. Inside the cover there is additional advertising for Sir Walter Raleigh and a box for whatever your "stash" might be! The back/reverse is plain. The background has a textured linen fabric look. It is used but in very good condition as shown in the photos. Size is about 9-3/4" x 7" x 1-3/4".
