Description: This pair of Vietnam Era 1969 US Army USGI ERDL Camo Ripstop Jungle Fatigue Pants is in fair condition overall and shows signs of age and wear from service. The original DSA contract tag intact and production appears to have taken place in 1969. Size is Extra Small - Short. Actual waist measurement is about 27.5", the inside leg measures 27.5" and from waist to ankle cuff measures 37". The ERDL camouflage pattern shows signs of wear and fading from use but still retains a vibrant Green Dominant color tone. All buttons and metal hardware is present and functions as you would expect. There are several noticeable stains, small holes as well as holes that have been repaired. Many ARVN, Civilian Irregular Defense Group (CIDG) indigenous personnel and Montagnard troops wore a variety of camouflage pattern uniforms and perhaps this "extra" small size was produced with them in mind as even the smallest adult in the US at the time had a waist larger than 27". A salty pair of field pants with the "Been There" look that would display well in a collection. Please examine the photographs carefully for the best description of condition.
