Description: Victorinox Champion-C, Swiss Army Knife, Multi-Tool, Discontinued, 1976-86 40+ Years Old. #97 This SAK is in very good condition, with the exception of the scissors spring (5th & 6th pictures). The blades are sharp and were never sharpened. It has good snap and has been cleaned and oiled. The Champion was the top of the Victorinox line until it was replaced with the Swiss Champ in 1985. The A & B models of the Champion had the long rear file, but no front Phillips and Magnifier. The a A had a Corkscrew, while the B had a Phillips. The following can be used to date this SAK: Cap Lifter before 90 degree stop >1984 Tang stamps "OFFICIER SUISSE" touching Crossbow 1976-1986 and "VICTORINOX SWITZERLAND STAINLESS ROSTFREI" with small "V" 1976-86 Corkscrew with 4 fluted loops 1976-91 Scissors with Double spring and screw 1975-90 Reamer with no eye 1961-85The Cap Lifter and Tang Stamps indicate this SAK was made between 1976-84, making it at least 40 years old.
