Description: This is one great big honking fabulous tile: Approximately 23.5 inches long by 11.75 inches tall (59.7 by 29.85 cm). Guessing it was a tile that went across the top of a fireplace opening Research indicates it’s by Thomas Forester & Sons (based on finding a Thomas Forster cheese dome in same pattern) Mounted (glued?) on felt-backed plywood Plywood shows signs of weathering/delamination on edges. But who cares? No one is looking at the plywood. No chips to tile Crazing Several places where glaze popped off ceramic without chipping the ceramic Several spots where glaze is worn and no longer shiny, plus orange peel effect on tile Please see photos. Signature will be required at time of delivery
