Mimeographed document signed "Vera Miles" in blue ink. With lead pencil and black ink notations in unknown hand. 1 page, 8¼x10¾. Nov. 23, 1995. Addressed to the cashier at 20th Century-Fox Film Corporation. Miles signed this document to have 20th Century-Fox send her checks and other compensation to the Milt Rosner Agency in Hollywood, California. Miles, born Vera Ralston in Boise City, Oklahoma in 1929, proved adept at playing hysterical or mentally imbalanced women. A favorite of director Alfred Hitchcock, her film roles include The Wrong Man and The Searchers (1956), Psycho (1960), The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance (1962) and Separate Lives (1995). Miles guest starred in many TV series and pilots through the 1980s. Lightly toned and creased. Two file holes at top edge. Lightly nicked along right edge and in lower left corner. Folded four times and unfolded. Lightly nicked along fold at right edge. Otherwise in fine condition.
