Description: The 100 Venezuelan bolivar soberano banknote features the new currency that has an exchange rate of 100,000 bolivar fuertes to 1 bolivar soberano. Earlier issues of the note did not have the adjective soberano on the note. The vertically oriented obverse side features the Federalist leader Ezequiel Zamora. The horizontally oriented reverse side features the Venezuelan coat of arms and a Brachyteles hypoxanthus (northern muriqui) monkey dangling on a branch in the Guatopo National Park. The purple note measures 156 mm by 69 mm. The note has a holographic windowed security thread with demetalized BCV, a watermark of Simon Bolivar, and an electrotype watermark BCV.
