Take vise off and use c-clamps to hold larger parts. Or put in a narrow blade and leave the head forward to use as a vertical saw and cut tighter radius's. Saw has a 8-3/4" throat and clearance under the head to the table is around 14". The motor is 3/4-H.P., 115/230-Volt, single-phase with 4 speeds of 17, 140, 270 & 525 SFM. Has a 30.5"x18.5" table, casters and vise and is basically a horizontal head mounted vertically! This saw new is over $8000 with all the optional accessories, so should be a great buy for someone!
