The masking cover integrate seemly with the rest of the shifter, making it look like a real truck shifter.This knob replace the standard round knob from the standard Logitech shifter and, beside more a comfortable "truck like" touch, it adds 3 buttons (2 rockers for speeds split and range functionality, and one temporary push button that you can attach to any function you want).To install the shifter, you need to remove the original round knob from the original shifter, then:for Logitech and Trustmaster shifters: screw in the black metal adapter. Find the correct rubber adapter and insert it into the metal adapter. Lock the adapter with the 8 screws (2 bigger one on top and 6 ones on the lower area)for Fanatec shifter: screw the knob into the shifter axle, lock it with the 2 bigger screws (not too tight to do not damage the threads)Then, place the 3d printed cover halves around the connectors and lock it in with the provided screws.The handle has a USB connection that will need to be connected separately to your computer. Your computer will see it as a new joystick "Truck Gearshift Knob" that you can use in parallel with the Logitech wheel (you will need to add it also in the game controllers and set the new buttons). One big advantage of this shifter is the fact that you get an compatible one with multiple consoles, so, if you decide to change the console, you can still use the same shifter knob.
