Description: This ring was handcrafted from recycled 14k white gold by a local artist. It features a custom cut Jeff Davies untreated Umba sapphire from Tanzania in a deeply saturated blue. The stone is clean, and has a striking rainbow matrix like inclusion that you can only see when the light hits it in the right way. If you are familiar with Jeff Davies faceting, you know that all of his stones are of the highest quality in today’s market. His sapphires are particularly coveted, as they are rare and very pricey. This particular sapphire is rare due to the origin and the lack of treatment, meaning this sapphire has this stunning color right off the ground. Truly a one of a kind piece! The sapphire is securely held in a white gold bezel. The ring was given a matte finish and has been rhodium plated. Rarely worn, as this has been one of my prized possessions over the years.
