The action of my spoons have been designed to swim subtler than other spoons and the 9/0 stainlessbucktail hook gives them a more life-like swimming action which increases the hook up ratio with virtually no foul hook-ups. For best results try to troll the spoons 5 feet from the bottom or 5 feet under schools of bait. Speed is important, but the tip of your rod should give you a good idea of how your spoons are working -- there should be a steady pulsation on the tip of the rod. If not, you may have to increase or decrease your speed. Over long periods of use, the screws securing the keel may loosen do to the vibration of the spoon.
