Description: Timpo Toys 7th Cavalryman Leads Horse w/ Travois Carrying Wounded Trooper Original Timpo U.S. Cavalry Mini-Diorama - Dealer Stock swap-type figures - unpainted plastic figureThe 7th Cavalry's only 'mini-diorama' includes a cavalryman (in a pose unique to this set) leading a horse which is pulling a "wounded comrade " to safety. The wounded soldier is strapped to a travois, under a blanket. Please note that there is NO soldier under the blanket. The head and blanket REPRESENT the body. Limited stock. The elements of this figure were produced by Timpo in England in the late 1970s or early 1980s. It was made in unpainted plastic, but appears to be painted as it was cast using a method (now lost) in which different colors of plastic were fused together by the manufacturer to give the model the appearance of being painted. The set is in mint, undamaged condition and has not been previously owned (dealer stock). Although originally created to be swappable, we don't recommend it, as the plastic can sometimes shear off. Items are sold in as-is condition and we cannot replace any pieces.
