(The production toured beginning September 27th, 1905 and opened January 8th, 1906 at New York's Liberty Theatre where it ran for 51 performances.) ..... The play, which was the basis of the controversial 1915 D. W. Griffith motion picture "BIRTH OF A NATION", starred JOHN B. Despite these flaws, this rare program will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
