Cloth is rubbed and scuffed, mostly at spine caps and edges. Kenilworth and St Ronan's Well and Fortunes of Nigel show most wear to exterior, cloth heavily scuffed and wrinkled and possible water damage to Fortunes of Nigel. Spines are straight, bindings intact, boards flat and sound. Pages are toned though remain crisp and rather clean. Gutter split at some flyleaves of some volumes, not all. Some small pen inscriptions to front endpapers. Otherwise, interiors are quite clean and undamaged. No other markings, stains, loose pages, or tears. A handsome complete set of ten volumes.
