The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck, 1940 1st Edition 13th Printing w/DJ RARE BOOK LEAGUE VERSION This is the Thirteenth Printing of the Grapes of Wrath published in September of 1940. This is the rare Book League version which is noted on the inside of the dust jacket. This is not to be confused the Book Club Edition, which was published in 1965. The dust jacket is intact and preserved in a mylar jacket. The dust jacket is extensively worn with a number of tears, folds and missing pieces. The book itself is in Very Good Condition. The spine is good. The top edge is still brightly stained blue. The spine is slightly rounded at the bottom but secure. The pages exhibit the expected tanning of a book this age but are clean of stains and marks. There are initials at the top left corner of the back of the last page (See Photos).
